Today 3 Chinese guys (plus a white guy hanging in the background) wearing yellow shirts came to my door in the daytime, posing as gas company employees (gas company employees wear blue shirts, don't come in fours, and don't do this..).. my mother was home and didn't open the door. They had the application for the low-income gas discount program and wanted her to open the door to fill it out on the spot. Their English sucked. My neighbor opened his door and chased them off.

I called the police when I heard of this and they told me if they are seen again next time to **call dispatch immediately**. They said people will occasionally do this. I am aware that Asian gangs have been known to specialize in home invasion robberies - but.. I live in an apartment. ?!? Were they trying to steal my personal information from the application? Why send four men? I'm not sure, but it's very creepy. They must have hopped the gate or followed the mailman to gain access to the building. If you see such characters call the cops and do NOT open the door.
